Circle/registration time – formal register taken, St. Luke’s  ‘welcome song’, birthdays celebrated, theme/topic   (based on alphabet letter, book etc.) introduced/discussed.

 Children are free to enjoy a variety of activities inside and in the sensory garden: drawing (on the large whiteboard outside or colouring in inside); constructing/creating (with lego and playdough inside or in the  sand tray outside); dressing-up, role-play, etc.

 Whole group activities, including nursery rhymes and songs, obstacle course, circle games, outdoor games etc.
